Free Dockside Helm Assessment

The right display starts with the right diagnosis.

Available free of charge for vessels in Nassau. Our technician visits your vessel at Nassau Harbour to conduct a thorough evaluation of your existing bridge electronics, dashboard cutouts, power supply stability, and ambient light conditions. We document exact display dimensions, input requirements, and mounting constraints before any purchase is made. Assessments outside Nassau — including Family Islands and other locations — are available by arrangement and may be subject to a travel fee; contact us for details.

Pre-Delivery Bench Testing

Every unit verified before it reaches your vessel.

All hardware ordered through TropicShield undergoes a mandatory 24-hour bench test at our Nassau facility before delivery. We verify full electrical function, display calibration, input switching, touch response, and waterproof seal integrity under simulated operating conditions. Units that do not pass are returned to the manufacturer — not delivered to you.

Our certified technicians handle the complete physical installation of your display systems — including dashboard cutout fabrication, flush-mount plate fitting, shielded wiring harness routing, power supply connection, and full input source integration. We commission the system on-vessel and verify all sources are live before signing off.

Preventive Maintenance Agreements

Scheduled care that keeps your bridge electronics mission-ready.

TropicShield offers annual and bi-annual preventive maintenance agreements for commercial operators, charter fleets, and defence vessels. Scheduled visits include electrical connection inspection, display calibration verification, seal integrity check, firmware updates, and a written condition report. PMAs are available for Nassau-based vessels and can be coordinated for Family Islands fleets.
